Returns Policy

At Christchurch Timber, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to be happy with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes you may change your mind. Our returns policy is designed to be fair and straightforward, ensuring a smooth process if you need to return any items.

Returning Your Goods

If you decide that you no longer need your purchase, you can return any items that are in a resellable condition within 14 days of purchase. To arrange a return, please contact our office at your earliest convenience on 01202 483 471. Our team will guide you through the process and help you organise the return of your goods.

Please note that any refunds may take up to 7 working days to process and will only be completed once the goods have been returned and inspected to confirm they are in a resellable condition.

Over Ordered or No Longer Need a Product?

If you have over-ordered or simply no longer need a product, we offer the option to return goods under the following conditions:

  • Collection Charges: At our discretion, the collection of goods may be subject to a charge equal to any original delivery charge. Additionally, there may be an extra charge for collections from certain locations or for specific product types due to distance or handling requirements.
  • Restocking Fee: Returns may also be subject to a restocking charge of 20%, depending on the circumstances.
  • Exclusion for Millboard Products: Due to their high value, potential for unseen damage, minor marking, and the difficulty in transporting them, Millboard products are non-returnable unless faulty or delivered by mistake.

Non-Returnable Goods

Certain items are non-returnable unless they are faulty or have been delivered by mistake. These include:

  • Goods that have been cut, made to measure, or customised in any way.
  • Goods that have become mixed inseparably with other products after delivery.
  • Out-of-date products.
  • Goods that have been removed from their original packaging and are no longer in good sellable condition.
  • Goods that have been left externally, resulting in damaged or faded packaging or product appearance.
  • Goods not suitable for return due to health and hygiene reasons.
  • Perishable goods, such as cement or plaster.
  • Millboard Products: As mentioned above, Millboard is non-returnable due to the challenges associated with its transportation and the potential for minor but impactful damage.
